Astrocetus (Transferring Maps in Cryo)
I currently run this mod on a cluster with Ragnarok and Valguero. The Rag map is using CrossGenesis and the Valguero Map is using the dino/map expansion (If that is even a variable here.) When the Astro is tamed on Rag and brought to Valguero in a cryopod - it coverts the dino image of the Astro to a Raptor and doesn't allow deployment. As if the Astro isn't native to the map and cannot be used there (Like flyers in Aberration.) It permanently locks the pod when taken back to Rag as well. We tried to bypass this by using another mod (Soul Pods - DinoStorage V2) in case it was an issue with cryopods specifically, but it changed the dino avatar to a large question mark and when attempting to deploy.... It just says "Dino Class not Loaded" or something to that nature. I have ensured that I placed the approriate GUS code (NativizeSpaceWhales=True) in the GUS.ini

Please, any information would be great. In regard to this issue, the mod author did respond in a comment and asked for this Discussion to be applied. He did provide a work around (cheat dino CGMigrateDino while mounted or looking at the Astro) but running a server, I can't do that every time someone tames one. So I'm looking for alternatives this please!!! Thank you again for the amazing mod and your time looking into this!!!

No worries, the post is mostly to keep comments somewhat clean and make it easier to track this problem. If it's not a problem and you need a fix fast, in the morning I can quickly make a really tiny mod that'll tell the game to use a vanilla Astro when CG-Astro isn't found.

Still, I'd love to find a full fix for the conversion failure.

Sure thing!! I'd rather you fixed it properly too. I will just let my server peeps know they are gonna have to hold off on transferring them for now. I really appreciate you looking into it brother!!

That's super awesome man!! Thank you!! How do I use it though? Just run it as a mod? And it takes care of the rest? Also, which one should I use? I saw you posted 2.

The DevBuild hasn't been currently tested but contains the new bypass for Astrocetus, which avoids remaps and works with mods that make changes to them. It's a full replacement for the live build, and using them both at once will cause conflicts. There's no retrofitting though, and I have yet to see what would be the implications of generating new dino IDs.

The CryoAid is a tiny mod that'll make the cryopods use vanilla Astrocetus when CG-Astrocetus is stored - should be installed on the server without CG, and can be safely removed once you unpodded the dinos.

Latest update introduces the change from devbuild - future Astrocetus tames (if they spawned after the update was installed) will be vanilla and can be transferred freely.
