Custom music and general feedback
Good job so far.
One of my main gripes though is the music. I absolutely abhor Mick Gordon's work, it's an asynchronous tryhard mess of soundtrack. Is it possible to make new music optional or (if you're up to it) compatible with other mods. Personally, I've always wanted to hear Andrew Hulshutz's IDKFA coupled with nuDoom gameplay.

I haven't played all that much of this mod, but I can already see some essential improvements you've made to the gameplay formula, well done. Enemies are relentless, there's more than just 10 of them at a time, increased dash distance, open-ended arenas expanding playstiyles besides just "If you stop running, you die", no glory kills (♥♥♥♥ing thank you), no artificial ammo cap... All very good stuff.

However here are some of my own suggestions:
-make common enemies less bullet spongy and increase their numbers instead (3 shotgun blasts to take down a common laser mook? Come on)
-level geometry is not exactly designed around this type of movement, I've caught myself getting stuck on doorway arches more than once
-shamblers attack a little too fast to react, but one can easily get used to it
-ledges ought to be grab-able from either side, not just one
-if it's possible, figure out how to make demons' colour scheme less saturated, but at the same time more visible in dark areas. I realize I'm asking for something square yet round here. The color thing is purely personal taste, they fit into a Serious Sam universe and old Doom games better this way, but their models always clashed for me.
-is it me or does the super shotgun always automatically aim right above the demon I'm hooked onto instead of their face?

I've only found a couple of bugs in this build, both of which are visible in the link above:
-weapon textures not loading in properly/fast enough under certain lighting conditions
-dying with one extra life just means you die with 100 HP, that only hapenned once
*-dash doesn't work on stairs

Again, well done so far, I would really love to see this project realized. And maybe we'll finally have a fun shooter instead of it pretending to be anything resembling the original Doom games.

My god ive just realized i have unread discussion threads, really sorry for not answering.
Im gonna do a quick answer and say the demo was bit rushed and all of the issuess above or know and all of that will be fixed and improved in the full mod that im developing right now.

Everyone has a different taste of music, but i personally like most of the people like gordons work so gonna keep it, even scripted a music system for the full mod.

Glory kills will never exist i dont like how they stop combat and even and doing them would take a month or two

So yeah if you liked the demo then you will consider it garbage when the full version is out in a few months. Appreciated
