Serious error on resolution of Boxer Rebellion
After the peace conference china broke up into micro states and left all active European divisions in the region trapped. Before the update they would auto path to the nearest territory they had access too. To place this in scale, there were at least 70-90 divisions trapped in territories between the British Raj and what was Southern China and the South Western edge of the Russian Empire. Occupied Southern China ran from the Corner of Russia to French Indonesia. So that Entire section had trapped divisions. Mine were trapped in a territory just north of Peking.

As far as I understand, you are experiencing a historical or logical error in the game, so what I can suggest to you is:

How do you manage to split up China? I wish my china get splitt up!

If you run non historical, the unclaimed bits change into their own states. Just as Germany has small claimant states, So does China. With the Boxer rebellion event, China ends up declaring war on the 8 nation. Most of the Boxer and Chinese divisions end up on the Russian border. And the British Raj and most of the other nations move North into southern China with little resistance.

The whole campaign is a grinder just down to logistics and time. And a lot of divisions with no equipment from both China and Boxers. The casualty list usually runs under 100 for the 8 nations with Russia running just over 1,000. China and Boxers Running 60k combined.

It's why I only have 12 divisions split into two 6 division elements. takes almost 1 year in game time to finish. If your Germany you start with a spring board location near Peking. Russia never manages to advance. Takes everyone else 4-6 weeks to arrive. But it give Germany a early jump for grinding the invader trait. Best bit was ending the war with two different Boxer factions. Two different Chinese empires. And far too many independent holdings ( See HRE from Europa). About 6 months later the reunification wars start.

In my Game after the war there is only one China but than after 1-2 years the boxer come back and fight again. Mostly Boxer wins and rule over China :D

Got a better result. can move out of China, even though my claimed territory formed a doughnut around a new boxer territory. Still got access to the port of Peking. Place still jigsawed with a new Turkmenistan province consisting of most of northern China. Still two empires but safely separated. And one big North Eastern Boxer group. Still would like to know why China is siding with them. Given How the Boxer rebellion was also against the government for allowing the opium trade. But the Important bit is I can at least leave and resupply.
