for some reason, when I use the mod without the New Promotion Screen by Default, I can't see the rank and abilities, but with it, they are just gone.

Do you play with rpgo? if so you don't need the extra mod New Promotion Screen by Default because rpgo already ships its own version of that mod. In fact you get a mod conflict if you have NPSBD and rpgo both active causing bugs like your described.

I was not using rpgo, so I attempted to use that instead of the New Promotion Screen by Default, but I'm getting the same thing. The promotion screen decides not to show all of the ranks.

I've attempted all I could, I started a new game with no mods other than the jedi one (and the required ones) and the rpgo, and same result, then again with the New Promotion Screen by Default, but they still don't show the last rank. I think that eliminated the mod conflict theory, so I'm at a total loss.

I will run a test tomorrow and see if I can replicate the issue.

Not sure if this is the exact same thing but my Jedi do show the rank OK to start with but they are actually levelling up past Grand Master which is when the rank and rank image disappear..

so in a final plea, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, and now it works with either the New Promotion screen by Default, or your rpgo (didn't try them together, per your suggestion). Something in the files must've been bugged, because that is the only logical reasoning.

Glad it works now. Next time before reinstalling try validate the game files in steam. It’s a lot quicker and yields the same results most of the time.

I have an other problem with the Rank. The Promotion Screen show the 8th Rank. But when any soldier (maybe not a Jedi) ranks up the game crashes. In the log file i could see that the problem might be the 8th rank for soldiers (in log file it is stated that the 8th rank is out of bounds). Do i need an other mod that allows the 8th rank?
