Tried that, it does not even come up in the list. Sadly.
Please remember that the map is not yet officially released for multiplayer use and thus could not work properly.
I also can't be held responsible for any malfunction after the following steps
(for windows)
(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meiers Civilisation V)
Or alternatively.- Go in your "My document" folder then in "My games" then "Civilization V" and finally "Mods"
- Find the folder named "Midde Earth Map Pack"
- Copy all the Civ5Map files from this folder
- Go in your "My document" folder then in "My games" then "Civilization V" and "Maps"
- Paste the files you previously copied.
- You can then use the maps in a multiplayer game (no need to go through the mods menu)
- Every player must take these steps to be able to play
Thanks to SideWinder94 for putting this into text. <3.
