Makes a horrible noise, even after uninstall

restart gmod. if that doesn't work type menu_cleanupgmas in console

If it's a extremely loud static like sound you hear, go into consoles and type in " snd_restart " This ends up restarting every sound inside of the game and reading everything over again, if it continues further I would just recommend to reinstall Gmod or clear it out entirely.

omg, i wish i would have came earlier, you probably fixed it by now but for anybody who has the same issue..


goto your settings in gmod, > audio, and change your audio type to whatever... then apply, then go back and switch the audio type to what you had it originally, then apply again.



hope this helped because whenever i had someone explain this to me, 100% of the time this has worked.

try to open the console and type "snd_restart"
