What about a sandstorm?

I've added 2 days ago a sort of sandstorm in the TK desert maps, 20% chance of happening

How about snowstorm for Norsca and Naggaroth and heavy tropical monsoon-type rainfall for Lustria? All would have much lower visibility than normal, but be quite thematic and immersive looking!

Ehy John, believe me I've tried both and I really would like to use them but each of those have 1 major issue:

1- Most people will complain that there is low visibility, as they did when nights were darker.

2- The Snow maps looks very bad when there is no sunlight because of poor ambient occlusion.


I think I could made a hardcore version of the mod with extreme weather conditions without caring about gameplay difficulties

I would be down with a hardcore version of the mod for sure! I think weather should have an impact on gameplay, both visually but also mechanically (though that's on CA). I would be happy to have just the visual part for now! I feel extreme weather are very warhammer-y, and are a nice change compared to the sunny clear days.

Could i somehow change rain chance? I just want to play rain maps everytime :d

Hey Mazisky, the recent WH3 trailer just irked my need for extreme weather even more. Would love to have northern snowy maps with a similar atmosphere. Currently i find them to be a bit too sunny all the time!

Ehy John, in the last update I changed some day-time snowy maps to be less sunny. I can't do too much extreme or people will complain that they have low visibility

Just as a suggestion you ever considered trying to tackle the porthole lighting? You would make my wish come true.

I've already tried to change the porthole lighting and it is possible, but I didn't get good results. I've tried to make less sunlight in the face but then they look too dark
