Anime History VS World of Anime
They're both by the same author, and they're both up to date. Is there any considerable difference between the two, if not for portrait swaps?

Anime history is just graphical, so its still vanilla so you can join multiplayers and do ironman mode for achievements while World of anime other people will need the mod for multiplayer and is not ironman compatible

Anime History has been updated recently but not this one. Will it cause issues?

Depends on what version World of Anime was made for, but if it's pre-DLC launch then you'd be safe changing the game version to a previous one.

...none. Earlier this mod used to have names for the anime characters but since No Step Back changed how they were entered, that feature can no longer be updated and we decided to make this identical to AH for people who still use this mod and are still subscribed to it."
