HLA: G-man Model
How do you port the models?
I've asked everywhere, and never received an answer, so I'll ask here as well (sorry). How do I port the models? I own the game, and really like the models of combine tripmines, grenades, sidearms, and more. How do I port them??!!

He probably extracted the model using Valve Resource Viewer, rigged it, and then gave it flexes. Thats one way to do it. Theres also the Pragma Engine, which can export rigged meshes, and animations from source 2, but does not cover flexes for the time being.

Thank you! I did it, and it works wonderfully. Now to actually get the models in source 1, which will be harder...

Anyone know of doing the opposite source - source 2? Some insight would help a lot.

that's not true. You use VRF to rip out to blender, then use the blender source tools to export as SMD files, repack it, and you should be good. The issue is larger models break the polycount limit.
