why is this 400 mb
is it that high detail?

A lot of uncompressed textures are being used, even though all the original textures are compressed. The uploader should compress all of them.

You are wrong. As I said, in this case the textures from Nexus Mods are COMPRESSED. so you do not get higher quality if you upload them uncompressed. Mav should compress them, but the decission is up to him.

could just make a Compressed version and keep this one up as images and stuff.
