I would like:
+20% damage bonus
On hit: ignites the enemy on fire for 1 seconds
-25% clip size
15% slower reload speed

hmm:

+%10 ammo/clip
+%5 reload speed

-%50 firing speed

What about this?

!-Right-clicking will enable a laser

When Laser is active:
+ No Bullet Spread
- The laser may reveal your location
-Can only be active for 8 seconds (charge similar to cloak) OR -5 Metal per second active

(By default)
+ Headshots will deal minicrits
-20% firing speed
-Clip has only 8 bullets(-33% Clip size)
-Only 32 Bullets in reserve (40 bullets in total)

every 25% off of your health add an extra bullet to clip and remains there till healed or killed.

+ Unlimited ammo, (like the Bison), battery "clip" must be replaced every 20 shots.
- 25% slower Reload
- 15% slower fire rate
+ Alt Fire: fire a shot that marks target for death for 30 seconds on hit, costs 25 metal and 10 "ammo" per use
+ Targets marked for death will be targeted by your sentry gun regardless of disguise.
- Alt Fire can only be used once every 120 seconds.
- Can not be equipped by the Scout
- No Random Critical Hits (It's tradition at this point.)

pros, infinite ammo, 35% more accurate, on enemy hit enemies are visible through walls for 5 seconds.
cons, 20% smaller clip, 20% less reserve ammo, 15% slower reload, 10% slower fire rate.

i think the stats that Dr.matrex said are good but i think the rounds need to be tracer rounds

Analyze and dominate[ passive]: Grants HUD to be able to see enemy's health and ammo.
