i like the idea for the increased attack speed, because the sword looks lighter than the other swords

My view of such a stylish wep suggestion:

Pros:

On Critical Hit, enemy bleeds for 3 seconds
Mini-Crits enemies from behind

Cons:
No Random critical hits
-15 Max Health on wearer
10% damage penalty (Base damage is about 59)

Other Notes: 37% Longer and Wider reach


If the wep were to be added in my fashion of thinking:

The weapon would be quite a pain to be up against, since not only does it have the traditional longer and wider reach, but it also can inflict mini-crits if you show your behind along with the fact that you'll start bleeding on critical hits. The weapon would work really well with the shields, since you crit the enemy, they either die or try to run away then chase after them. If they're dumb they will show their back to you while running allowing you to get a stronger blows on them or a finishing blow. The problems however will be notable, the weapon has the tradition of not being able to crit and a 15 health reduction, which is less than the eyelander but it can't collect heads to increase health. The damage penalty will be somewhat of a pain since you may not be able to kill low health classes, like scout, in two hits.

Would love to see this as a multiclass weapon.

As far as stats go though:

+25% movement speed on wearer
+20% explosives vulnerability
>Eyelander range<

Sabres and cutlasses in real use are typically very light and easy to swing, and their wielders are also very light and agile, but on a ship if there's an explosion, you're practically sunk.
