How does this mod track the units of players on the same faction in Galactic Conquest?
When two or more players have joined the same faction, how does the save file identify their units as belonging to a player rather than a faction?

I am hoping that it would be possible edit a GC's xml file to set ownership of planets / units to co-op players from game start. This may avoid the instant game over on co-op.
