My Thoughts
I will say... i really do like the concept. A dense forest, hard to see where you're going. Though I played on it normally for about 30-45 minutes.. didnt have that much loot and got very bored.
I then went into spectate mode + a GPS and got even more... off kilter...

Ill list my pro's and cons:::

Pros:
Getting lost feels like a challenge to find something else or just go back where i came from
The animals and the woodland zombies do give a sense of a hardcore feel.

Cons:

- There isnt that many locations on the map which makes it underwhelming. Especially on the GPS
- The loot is extremely scarce... and random... and sometimes pointless... ( For example: I went to the junk yard and found a million melee weapons, mags for guns that i didnt even think are in the map, and tires)
- Cars are kinda pointless because its hard to drive on the roads, the roads lead to really no where. And sometimes the cars (which i only found at the gas station and some times at the random house in the woods) can barely be used because of the zombies around it.
- There is a glitch at the gas station, to where if you walk 5 meters away from it behind the station =all the loot respawns and so do the zombies + cars. Making it not so hard to just pop in and out to get supplies. Zombies constantly respawning with the millions of melee weapons is a XP machine.
- The bunker is really in the middle of no where, when i got to it, it can be easily seen due to the giant stone box popping outside the map... and when i went inside of it (in spectator) the loot was very very very underwhelming and nothing unique. I went back there 3-4 times expecting something different and nope... vest, and a flash light.
- The bunker also required a keycard and a wardens key... dont really see the point of either due to the bad loot spawns there.
- Berries everywhere... infinite food supply
- Lastly the roads/water end points along the boarder.. I can understand just grass leading into the boarder to more grass kinda like the old canada map/yukon.. but the roads and water, i just kinda bump into it expecting more and not expecting a boarder. Something that could say "the road is ending/water is nonbypassable" would work.
- Boss zombie is... really bad... its way to hard to kill with the millions of melee weapons and the one bulldog gun i found. And what it dropped was again.. not worth the time.
- Wolves have extreamly low heath, i punched it three times and its dead, walked away eating berries to revive some health and on my way.

I understand that the map is supposed to be "hardcore" and "a challenge". But with many glitches, not so many locations, lots of lag (due to the trees and entity spawns {zombies}), poor loot tables. This map is more frustrating and boring than hard. Really the only hard thing about it is dealing with the lag and finding my way around (which again the thick forest is a good idea and I enjoy the feel but its def not meant for unturned's rending style considering i can usually run the game at 133 FPS but was dealing with 20s-40 fps on this map).

Hard feels like a challenge... Bad or non encouraging loot tables doesnt define it as hard, just annoying and boring. And neither do the zombies cause I can just out run them and they'll loose me because of their tracking or get stuck on rocks and phase outside the map.

humm, generaly, cons turn about what's said and i could agree for many things, but as you need to know, this map was maded for the "elite" of the unturned survivors, loot are very frustrating as you said 'cause the goal of the map isn't to create an arcade gameplay. At my opinion arcade gameplay is very boring, yes you can have berries every time but how boring is it to stay in the forest, the goal is to find better and better loot in the location, facing the zombies. I recommend you to play in hard if you want a real immersion without any give and you'll see how difficult it can be, The major con is the navigation that are overlapping, making many glitches around the overlap, but for the rest i do not intend to change the map difficulty and the map style, everythings were made to represent the difficulty that i want to find in unturned. Anyway thanks a lot for your feedback and the time that you spend on my project, this could help me fix several things to see for my future projects. And sorry for my bad english x) :lis2unicorn:

What defines an "ELITE" unturned survivor exactly, especially considering I have 400+ hours on this account and 200+ hours on my alternate account?

And what do you mean by an arcade game? This is literally a free-to-play DayZ inspired zombie survival game that originated from Roblox?

And thats the thing about loot, like I said its hard to find loot and even if i find loot, it isnt good. Loot spawns dont define how hard a game/map is, it defines how annoying it is. I was playing on EASY mode mind you so I can explore a map first before really getting into it to see if its worth my time.

But going through that, I was playing on EASY mode:
That means 2x loot and I was having the problems stated.
HARD mode has 0.5x loot meaning EVEN LESS loot with the loot item quality being extreamly poor.
Only other thing HARD mode in Unturned gives off is different status effects that are also in NORMAL mode (like broken leg but there isnt much to jump off of, Bleeding, 2x zombie damage, and parts of the HUD being removed).
That meaning the loot is even more scarce and way too much of a grind, but isnt worth it cause the poor quality. There is a limit off too much loot and not enough loot in a game to make it enjoyable. Because EASY mode felt like a "hard" mode.

And the berries issue can be resolved by reducing the amount of berry spawns instead of cracking them up to max. And I feel more enjoyment inside of the forest because that really all this map is because of the few locations and the pointless roads. And even then, you made the map to be disorientating so we kinda HAVE to stay in the forest.

I will agree, the major con is navigation and I never intended for you to think you needed to change the map style, I was just giving my input.

Last thing I will say to "help" is that focus on making a map for a community instead of how you like it. Like you stated and I will quote you: "everythings were made to represent the difficulty that i want to find in unturned." Meaning thats how YOU find it difficult. Others can say the same, while others (like me) can find it very boring or not well thought out towards how Unturned works. What im trying to say- is make a map more towards how its functionality (and less lag intensive) and how its driven towards a community. Because what you presume as difficult others could see it different. Some presumed things being non opinionated.

Even then, 200, 1000, 1500, 2000 hours. That can all be the same... if anything, more hours makes it easier for a survivor. And also the hours doesnt define someones skill. I have a friend who has 127.5 hours in this game and he knows a little more skills than I do on somethings like base building or short range PVP, while im good at long range PVP and fortifacations.

Hours dont really define much towards this map. Especially when its after 70-100 hours of game play. Because at that point, thats plenty of dedication for a game, especially a free to play game. Any more than that, means you really enjoy the game.

And once again... opinionated... you said "for me" while for others that can be VERY VERY much different because people play games different.

hum i dosen't say that, i only want to change vanilla gameplay, but you do what you want, if you don't like this map it's your choice, so don't play it, im not here to debate on a map because im only creating content to dev my ideas and no more.
This map is not intended to make you unhapp, but happy of an exclusive experience, if it's boring at your opinion i could understand. And hours can definit a lot on the experience of the game.
