Deathwish too hard? Spoilers inside!
You may thinking for yourself but "its impossible there's no way to do both bonuses in one go".

Actually, there is, and in a perfect run you may save at least 10 - 15 seconds on the clock!

First is the build you want to go for which is:

1) For hats: Sprint hat/Brew hat
2) Badges: Magnet, Hook and whatever you want for the last slot (can be one hit hero if anything)

We need to understand our enemies too no?

Mafias: Don't let them fool you, those are weaker than the ones found in mafia town, they have 3 HP, they die pretty easily and cannot counter your attacks.

Cowboy Mafias: They are the exact Mafias from mafia town, take 4 hits, can become immune to attacks, therefore you need to use brew hat or homing attack or jumping on them to finish them off!

Cowboy Mafia with a hook: The mini boss of the gang, has 10 HP, cannot be staggered, can predict movement and randomly becomes immune to your attacks which means you have to jump on him.

Best way to deal with the leader mafia is brew hat and homing attack consecutively or simply attack and tank the damage.

When it comes to the cowboys its easier to attack them first with homing attack or jump on them so they become similar to the 3 HP mafias.

As for the bombs, they grant 40 seconds for disarming them but unlike the non deathwish version you need to do it 6 actions.

That's all I have to say, its not as difficult as may it look like there's certainly some room when it comes to how to deal with them.
