I,ve got two questions about the scripting.
1. Is there a way to reset the danger level (survivors XP) without reloading the game? Even when i reduce the wisible bars below the current level the autospawner still spawns the higher level zombies.
2. Can i somehow use the save/load toll to create my own scenarios? I.d like to make some of them basing on the fanmade tiles, and would like to use that tool because they take a while to loadfrom the server.
Thanks for help!
1. Note that the Exp-counter goes around multiple times for the "Ulitmate Survivors" Add-On. Make sure you are on absolute 0 by pressing -5 until the counter doesn't jump to ultra-red anymore.
2. Absolutely.
Best option you got is to spawn a bag or draw one from the "Infinite Box of bags" in the "Script asset" Area on the right.
- After you have set up your scenario place a this bag on the Save/Load tile.
- Press "Save" and it will pull all used assets into it.
- To reload the scenario position it on the Save/Load tile and hit "Load"
- Your scenario should be back as you saved it.
- To keep it either create a local save - or even better save the bag as an object. Simply right click and hit "Save object". This way you can spawn it even if i update the mod. I wont touch the GUID of the assets so it should work fine in the next versions.
Note: The assets will always load on demand. So even if you save it this way, it will always load the needed images for the used tiles, etc. after you hit "Load"
Hope this helps.
Just give me a shout.
i sent you a friend request to talk about it.
Thank you for this great stuff !
1) I don't figure out what is the use of the Zombie Graveyard.
Do I put all killed zombie inside it ? What happen when I use the gadget then ?
2) How can we do to have the limit numbers of zombies tracked ?
1. The graveyard is only for the purpose of putting Zombies with a limited amount back into their respective bags (i.e. Lost Zombivors, VIP) to start a new round without having to load the mod again.
For "normal" zombies, you can put them there or just delete them since the bags are infinite.
2. I don't quite understand the question. Do you mean the zombies on the board? Can you give an example of what you are trying to do?
By the way - how can I activate the "Advanced Mode" ?
As for the "advanced mode" i renamed it. Its the button you have to click for the Auto-Spawn to work. Will adjust the notes in the next version.
We will test in a real game mode soon and I will make feedback / raise questions to help and support your work.
I have some questions again.
1. where can i find any rules or ideas of using custom decks and addons?
2. I still dont know howw should i activate this advance mode despite reading those comments above ':D
3. Is there a way i could get some files to make custom cards from? I could photoshop a 'full' celar card out of few different, but since you guys have for sure done it already, i thought maybe you could give me a hand. SAme goes for all cards like character sheets, could you provide it?
Thanks again! Love yotu work <3
1. Rules are either in the description, in the rulebook mentioned ind the description (mostly for zombies) or will spawn as a flyer when selecting and confirming an option.
2. "Advanced mode" is activated by pressing "Auto Mode" near the zombie spawn area (numbers 1-15) once clicked it will show "Auto Spawn" and a red X
3. All files are from either zombicide.com, the zombicide-card-database or custom assets made by other users. I didn't create cards or character sheets, etc. Luckily those are assest made available by Guillotine Games.
Thanks in advance.
1) The Save/Load tile unfortunately only drags all items from the scripting zone in the middle of the table. Primarily its for creating and loading missions. Therefore you can set up a prepared mission like the ones in the mission-packs in seconds, without having to fiddle with tiles and such.
To save the state of a game you are playing i would suggests to use the "Save" function of TTS, which will probably fit your needs.
2) I haven't considered to remove inactive player areas tbh. What would you need the empty space for?
