A Persistent Issue with Zombie Variants
So since there's an update coming, I thought I'd air a grievance that could potentially be addressed. Full disclosure, this *could* be my fault, but I'm a little doubtful with all I've tried.

Basically, the zombie variants the mod is supposed to add have *never* worked for me. It *could* be because I have BrainDead's Classic Headcrab installed, but given models that are scripted to use the variants not only don't have headcrabs on them, but are just the default scientist zombie with its textures intact suggests the problem lies elsewhere to me.

Everything else with regards to BMCE more or less works, barring a few glitches and errors caused by just how much space all the chapter overhauls take up. I have it installed via the custom folder, as instructed; gameinfo.txt has been properly modified. I've even used GFCScape to extract the zombie model files from the main .vpk and put them into the mods/models subfolder in the custom folder. Yesterday I even tried putting them in a 'zombies' folder in *that* subfolder like how it's structured in the .vpk to see if that did anything. No luck.

At this point, I've mostly given up trying to fix it, especially now you're working on updating the whole thing anyway. If it really is just incompatibility with BrainDead's model replacement...maybe the update could address that? I really enjoy his enemy models--they help give the game's enemies a much more unique, more 'Half-Life 1' sort of feel without just using the old models outright. Compatibility with that mod would be a welcome addition, if necessary.

Otherwise, if anyone has any idea what my issue could be besides that, please let me know!
