Game won't start (Mac)
If I try to open it, it wants me to download some like code editor or something and I just want to play mini base plz help.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the mod. Some people have reported success with a virtual OS (Like running Windows on a Mac).

If you could provide the log file, that would be very helpful. Here are the instructions from KLEI:

LOG FILE
On your Mac's Finder menu bar on the top of your screen, click on the "GO" option > on the dropdown menu, Choose "Go to Folder..."

When prompted to enter in the folder that you would like to search for, copy and paste this filepath: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/ and click "Go". There you will find the Player.log file.

Yeah works on my windows machine, may be some OS specific code in your mod. Can I get link to source code plz, I may be able to help.

The mod gets automatically disabled after the crash, correct? Klei has checks so that mods don't permanently crash the game, which is what "bricking" implies

The modding Discord advises that if your game is "bricking", please unsuscribe from the mod via steam beforehand

Holy Awesome dude. This was quick, I have never seen someone so active. Thanks for the fix, really appreciated. Now I can play on the go.
Also you will get more traffic for this Mod now that Francis has picked it for his stream. Thanks again. Great mod.

Steam has problems serving the right version sometimes, so please let me know if you can or cannot use MiniBase now. If you can, have fun! If not, I have a direct download.

I am nervous to try it again, I went through uninstalling/reinstalling the game and all mods and eventually got it back up. It looks so fun though! If I try it again, it will be because of the youtuber Francis John's letsplay haha. I will let you know if it's successful.

The developer fix worked for me. To get it working, I had to: (1) unsubscribe from Minibase mod (from pre-fix); (2) delete folder of Minibase mod files from my local system (located here: /Users/[your user name]/Library/Application Support/unity.Klei.Oxygen Not Included/mods/Steam); (3) subscribe to the Mod Updater mod; (4) subscribe to the Minibase mod again; and (5) force an update of the Minibase mod via the Mod Updater mod.

Note that ONI did crash after each mod installation, but still ultimately worked once I went through each step. It now functions, and I was able to configure and load a couple of test maps. Thanks for the quick fix, Versepelles!

Mine is bricked. Unsubscribing didnt work for me. Ohharks, anyway to explain what you did a lil better. Struggling to find where to go on my mac, to find the 'mod file on local system"
