Traction Effort calculation
Hi MaikC,

Already posted in comments, but not sure how often you look there. Anyway as mentioned the TE of a steam locomotive is calculated using the following formula:

TE = (c *P *(d)^2*s) / D

c = a constant determined by the mean effective pressure and friction (usually 85%)
P = boiler pressure
d = piston diameter
s = piston stroke
D = driver diameter

and using the following data for the BR 52 Locomotive:

Boiler Pressure: 232 psi (16 bar)
Driver diameter: 1400 mm
Cylinder diameter: 600 mm
Piston stroke: 660 mm

We get a TE = 23,530 kgf = 230 kN for the BR 52 locomotive.

The TE of the other steam locomotives ingame are calculated in this fashion. Hence it would be really awesome with an update to your locos with this in mind.

Finally please take this as constructive criticism, and not a dig, as I love your mods, they're excellent.

Best regards!
