I have the same problem. What is going on ?

so from what i've gathered from the russian guides and others here there are a few factors. Going bankrupt will raise discontent. Also putting your maintanence percentages below 17% i believe will also raise it.
Now to reduce it I believe if you raise one of the percentages to above 81 then it will slowly tick down and certain laws like statute. Make sure your administration limit isn't reached. Thats all I know so far and hopefully people know more.

This mod seems a bit.... poorly balanced. As bohemia, who's supposedly a powerhouse in the HRE, I was losing money every day even with all maintenence sliders at 1 and no units

Did you have balanced trade, free trade open? Expanding infastructure and resource building can net alot of money. I tend to sit around 12 gold a day with Byzantine

ok so make sure you have a lot of investement into building, make sure you have a ton of trade ports to make that money for the investement, above 60% is i think where the discontent starts lowering, but youll have to have 60% on all the first three investements

the reason bohemia always goes bankrupt is that theyre landlocked, leading to no trade ports, trade ports are the best way to make money, im france and trade ports give me a 2000% boost

oh and make sure your on the highest trade level your nation can handle, in total, my exports bring in around +25000% income, so thats really good in late game when you can build palaces, smelters, sawmills and weaving workshops at a decently fast rate
DT 18 Jun, 2020 @ 4:31pm
Also, are you over your legislative limit? It is on the Economy screen below number of workshops. And there is an option above to increase it by 1 for 200 treasure.

So i changed to Statute for laws and it is just dropping discontent so do that and it should help

i usually end up making around 30-70 gold per day depending on what country i start as
