Figured it out. The vmt's used the "Patch" command to save space. But SFM and its auto detecting the files it needs didnt like that. Fixed now

For me its the red and blue skins.
the heads of the blue and red skins are wireframes.

When I add override materials and check out the Element Viewers materials section, the only material visible is mercenary_head. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

There needs to be wrist helper bones or something to combat this issue when posing the arms to hold a gun, otherwise it looks like this and being really contorted
