Childhood:
  • Wild Kid: [Pawn] has lived in the trees since [he] can remember with a group of monkeys, eating what [he] found and sleeping on the branches. Thus, [he] acts and even looks like a wild animal, and can't barely articulate a word, but other creatures seem to understand [him] perfectly.

  • Free Spirit: [Pawn] grew up in the vast forests of the rim, learning the ways of life from wildlife. This has attuned [her] to the voice of existence, opening the door for natural magics to flow through [her]. While not the most socially adjusted, [she] gets by and is an extremely good herbalist.

  • Raised By Wolves: Contrary to popular belief that someone raised by wolves would be anti-social, [Pawn] actually understands the finer nuances of hierarchical structures better than even seasoned scholars. [He] is less adept at using tools, but is as ferocious as the pack that raised [him].

  • Neophyte Strider: A Strider is a silent protector of the circle of life, ensuring the sanctity of the natural order. [Pawn] is a youngling in their exclusive order. While not called upon for combat purposes, [he] tends to wounded striders and prepares provisions on the trail, while always trying to cheer up the injured ones. Striders don't typically create things, opting to use what they find in nature.

  • Sproutseer: There is something to be said about feeding babies incredibly psychoactive sap instead of milk, but [Pawn]'s parents likely didn't read into that, following their community crazy Druid's advice. [Pawn] sees things very differently than everyone else, and while this makes normal tasks agonizing for others to behold, [he] has the uncanny ability to comprehend new concepts with great swiftness. Of course, once [he] figures it out, convincing others it is valid is a whole 'nother issue.

  • Bear Brawler: Before being recued by the Striders, [Pawn] was left alone after [her] tribe was sieged by the metallic monsters, had to fight for [her] life without anyone else. When a huge fire take place on the forest where [she] used to live, fighting a bear for a cave's safety was [her] only option.

  • Hunter's Aprentice: [Pawn]'s father was the hunting party's leader of her native tribe. Despite not having great skills with the bow, [he] dreamed to become as good as [his] father on his duties. Thus, [he] started developing and crafting every kind of different traps and mechanisms that noone would have ever imagined with such basic tools.

  • Popular Kid: [Pawn] has always been the most popular person among [her] Striders community. Or they wanted to be like [her], or the wanted to be with [her]. While [she] was growing up [she] started to became less and less popular, but the arrongance [she] once had never stopped, nor did [her] social skills.

  • Dead Master: [Pawn] felt an uncomparable admiration for [his] master, the village shaman that teached [him] everything [he] knows now. Saldy, during a war against the tree-cutting men while the villagers deffended their forest, the shaman was shooted to death while protecting all the kids [he] instructed. Watching behind a tend, without being able to do anything but cry in silence, [Pawn] promised [him]self to become strong enough so nobodyelse would need to die for [his]. [he] will be the one that protects the others.

  • Leader Offspring: The parents of [Pawn] were the proud chiefs of [his] village. Since [he] was a child [he] has been trained and educated in every kind of subjects so [he] could be a great lider too sometime. Althoug the effort put on [him], [he] refused to learn all that things and denied from all [his] obligations. [Pawn] just wanted to have a nice time chasing frogs like the rest of the kids did. The constant discussions with [his] parents and the pressure of having to meet really high expectations, forced [him] to leave [his] old tribe so [he] could find somewhere else to live as a regular person despite doesn't know how to do the most basic daily tasks.

Adulthood:
  • Nature Warrior: Having successfully fulfilled the rites of passage into the Striders, [Pawn] took a more direct approach to protecting nature. [she] is capable of surviving successfully in the wilds for long periods of time, as [she] is adept at not only procuring sustenance, but also preparing it. [She] understands that often times we must live in harmony with nature, and that to protect an entire herd of muffalo, sometimes one must be sacrificed to sustain the protector.

  • Strong Bowman: The rest of the order believe that a huge wooden hammer would fit perfectly for a person like [Pawn]. [Hw] is a tall and musculous person strong enough to open cononuts with [his] bare hands. Despite the biology's obvious signals, [Pawn] prefers to wield a light bow like the most of [his] comrades, eventhough [he] becomes way more efficient in combat when [he] starts whiping the bow arround when the enemies come too close, cracking skulls like they were made out of glass.

  • Silent Trustworthy: After witnessing a terrorific scene on [her] troop's territory, [Pawn] became a completelly quiet person, only talking when directly asked and responding with short answers. Believing that [she] could've done something to prevent that disaster, [she] hasn't stop training day and night pursuing get stronger. Now [she] only has one rule with [her]self: if the nature's safety requires, one arrow, one death.

[He] understands the land far better than most and this lends to [him] being an adept agriculturalist. Not only can [he] reap wondrous bounty from the ground, but [he] can extract it's secrets with skill and alacrity. Fabled dwarves would be put to shame by [his] incredible mining prowess.

  • Creator of Mountains: The day that a whole army of men in metallic suits surrounded [Pawn]'s Striders group, [she] discovered [her] powers. Possesed by the Mother Earth will and imbued with nature's force. Erecting earth pillars and walls, opening fisures and throwing gigantic rocks without even touching them in an overwhelming spiritual dance, the Strinders achieve that as one of their biggest victories. After that, the nature got back the power it lends to Pawn, but [she] learnt back how to use a fractiong of those abilities after years of training.

  • Sapologist: Thanks to clever utilization of various plant saps and syrups, [Pawn] has learned how to better utilize the gifts of nature to improve daily life all around [her]. By simply including the correct drops of sap while tending wounds, [she] is able to mend and restore an order of magnitude greater than [her] peers. [She]'s also quite adept at mixing and producing enjoyable substances, and [she] may sample [her] own creations more often than not.

  • Incarnation of Nature: The spirit of the forest has protected the land for ages, seeing numerous woodlands sprout and wither. Some say she was there when the original Striders first formed guiding them as an ethereal entity, but in actuality she has resided in numerous vessels, and [Pawn] is the current recipient of this potent gift. [He] also likes to... taste [his] own creations.

We shall not forget what we are so we can remember why will we fight tomorrow.

  • Fire Starter: [Pawn] isn't the brightest person of [his] surroundings. During a conflict in the name of the forest safety against the men with metallic weapons, [he] got a shot on [his] head. Since that, [Pawn] wasn't able to talk anymore nor do any task that needs a minimal amount of coordination. Now [his] only mission in the Striders is to catch the rats of the food stockpiles and start the ceremonic's bonefire bringing the first torch to the body of a deceased Striders. [He] loves to stare at the flames for hours during the parties. Everybody is kinda worried that [he] learns how to start a fire for himself, but that's quite improbable.
