I wonder if you could change Mandate interface to look like in this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1436745247 ?

The Empire of China interface looks quite nice in this mod, however I am not planning to change game's UI by much. Also, I've got almost no graphical skills :(

Maybe some content for Qing and Jurchen tribes?

Next update is planned for the Manchurian region. I will be releasing that probably in 2-3 weeks :)

Sounds good

I want to give a suggestion, set a resolution: when Ming conquered Manchuria, he can recruit the Banners Army, or set it in a mission. This should make sense.
Elite Scout 7 Aug, 2021 @ 9:38am
And the upper limit of the Banners Army should depend on the degree of development of the Manchurian cultural provinces, it would be unreasonable to depend on the Jianghuai culture.

Your task setting for Ming makes me a little puzzled:this mission "The Mandate of Heaven" give Ming songhong and Annan province claim. But “Annex Dai Viet” mission is in front of the Mandate mission. It feels a bit reversed

This may not be entirely possible as the banners can only be recruited from the main culture.

Wouldn't it be much easier to get permanent claim on dai viet after you cancel tributary with them, follow by the rest of korea and the steppe nomads? The original mission tree give you permanent claim on dai viet and korea.

That can be done

Regarding to the Chinese Cultural Hegemony decision , it is impossible to get 50 power projection ,maybe lower down the power projection to somewhere around 25-30. Since Ming is the greatest power , you can't rival anybody around you which makes it almost impossible to rival anybody to get power projection. PLSS do something about it
Thanks for reporting that, i didn't know about this issue, personally i didn't play Ming for the last 5 months or so

So when is it going to be changed?
Im not sure which "Chinese cultural hegemony" are you describing here. I was searching for that in both missions and decisions and didn't find that.

i have quite a few ideas for this mod, not in China, but in Tibet and Manchuria which you overhauled.

TIBET:
- Ladakh should start off as a Ming tributary, but lose the province of Gilgit to the OPM of Gilgit (Trakhan dynasty) and Skardu to the OPM of Baltistan (Maqpon dynasty, a Ming tributary). Zanskar, carved from the south of ladakh province, should be split off and Ladakh gains a 2nd province.
- Having a seperate 'Zanda' from Tsaparang does not make sense, as Tsaparang and Tholing were both in modern Zanda County (and you made Purang even FURTHER from Purang's irl location (!)). I would move Purang to encompass modern Purang and Gê'gyai counties, with Tsaparang/Zanda having Zanda and Gar counties. Purang's trade good should be Salt.
- The extra Guge province left would be used for the province of Mangyul, likely around Saga and parts of Zhongba county. The Mangyul province would be owned by the new Gungthang tag along with Gyirong.
- Surkhang province should be repurposed as the province of Mustang, with a capital at Lo Manthang. It should not block access between Mangyul and Gyirong, and instead cut from the himalayan wasteland between Purang and Jumla.
- Add Gyantse as a new province in the southern part of Shigatse province, with a fort and cloth trade good.
- Give U Lhasa, Tsurphu, Damxung, and possibly Gongbo'gyamda (rename gongbo'gyamda Kongpo, as iirc it was a more historical name) and make Tsang their vassal at the start. Make U and Tsang historical rivals. Tsang should get an event around 1446 to revolt off U, similar to Sirhind and Delhi.
- Nyingchi now doesn't even hold Bayi District (formerly Nyingchi County) so I would shift their border to include it. A new province should be carved out of Nyingchi in the north, either Nubhor or Powo depending if you want Bomi county to be part of Nyingchi or this new province.
- Powo (whatever province it is in) should be a nation at the start, possibly owning Kongpo as well.
- Nyainrong is part of Nagchu irl, despite it's appearance in-game being cut from Gyegu. idk how relevant Nyainrong was historically, but if you are gonna keep it, you should move it to the northern part of Nagchu province.
- Gyegu should have Nangchen/Nangqen split off of it's southern portions, including Nangchen County itself and possibly Zadoi county. It should have salt as a trade good.
- Rebgong is too big, and Golmud and Golok are too small; use Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture as the borders for Golok province, and Rebgong should shrink to just modern Huangnan (possibly Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture as well, if you aren't gonna make it it's own province). The owner of Hainan Prefecture should start with a fort, and Rebgong's trade good should be tea.
- I do not know if Dawu deserves to be a province, there are many more viable provinces in this region, including Batang County, Litang County, an independent Serxu County (for Lingtsang), Nyarong/Xinlong, Gonjo and Muli.
- Lijiang tusi should start as a tributary of Ming. I am saying tributary rather than autonomous prefecture because they did historically expand northward into Batang and Litang.
- Amdo should not be a vassal of Kham, and they should own Gannan, Taozhou and possibly Golog provinces, with Gannan being Amdo's capital.
- Remove the inaccurate Hengduan wasteland, distribute it among neighboring provinces, and add a Wenchuan or Jinchuan province split from Songqu.
- For cultures, you should use 5 cultures: Ladakhi, U-Tsang, Khampa, Bhutanese and Amdowa.
- Kham needs to be split into at least 3-4 tags, here are the tags in order of importance: Chakla/Gyelrong (based out of Tachienlu), Nangchen (based out of Nangchen, also includes 39 Hor so give them Nubhor, Nagchu, Nyainrong), Lingstang (based out of the new Serxu/Ling province north of Dege), Horkhok (OPM in Garze, should use Bon religion), Lhato/Gonjo in Gonjo, and the Golok confederacy in Golog. All these tags should be tributaries to Ming. If Golok confederacy is added, rename Amdo to Chone. Rename Kham to Derge.

MANCHURIA:
- Please fix the area setup right now to follow historical Jilin-Heilongjiang border, Amur River border and the modern Russia-China border. The current areas make no sense.
- Huncun, Ninguta, Fu'erhe and Furdan should be owned by Warka. idk if they should be a Ming tributary. Buff Jianzhou's development and province count to compensate. Borders of new provinces should follow pre-unification tribes of Jianzhou.
- Optional: Split off the area of Yalu, Neyen and Jusheli as Changboshan, who should start as Jianzhou's vassal.
- Oroqen only moved south of the Amur after the Russians entered the region. Move them between the Amur and Stanovoy mountains, owning Birijia, Tulutingshan and Udi. Oroqen should be of Evenk culture.
- Why is Fudali a seperate tag?
- Make Shilimian and Iman udege culture.
- Add Nanai culture in all Nanai provinces + Fudali, Ulch and Dzemgi (split from western Ulch and southern Miyoo Gasan). Dzemgi should be owned by Nanai, while the Ulch should be independent.
- the central part of Miyoo Gasan should be the province of Burukan, owned by the Negidals. They can be either Evenk or Nanai culture. Miyoo Gasan should be left with the eastern portion of the province corresponding to the sections of Nikolayevsky district north of the Amur river, plus the Shantar Islands. This province should be nivkh culture.
- Nivkh culture fits better with ainu and kamchatkan imo, forming the 'okhotsk' culture group.
- Rename Orochoni back to udege, as in my suggestion to paradox, i only chose the name Orochoni because Udege and Oroch were one tag in vanilla.
- Could add a wasteland for the Sikhote-Alin mountain range, if you do so, make east Bohori either its own province or part of Wolanhe, with Bohori being owned by Nanai.
- Nanai, Udege and Evenk culture tags fit better as Siberian Clan Councils than hordes imo.
- For flags, NI's, and other details, please follow me on steam.
