1) I got AI disabled at the start of very first load (got fixed after 2nd load and thx god there's a text that warns me)
2) I think you put too many syringes at the start, do people really get dmged by zombies? Even if you do get hit i still think 4 syringes before first appearence of antlions is too much
3) At the very last small fight I was definitely hit but I didn't receive any actual dmg? I was at full hp after fight when obviously i got hit quite a few times there.
4) Addition of water in this game is a brave move but it looks too bad + you cant really interact with it. Make it at least that I cant actually walk into it or smth because it breaks immersion when water is so bad.
5) Are automatic turrets not supposed to deal dmg to antlions? I understand that turrets are victims there but it looked weird how antlions didn't take any damage
6) Not sure if im so good at aim or it is a bug but blue antlions got 1 shot killed (except the very last one in the small room) even though im quite sure those hits were the legs and not the heart (that made them explode instantly).
I played on hard difficulty and overall it was great and original experience with cool scripted scenes :)
At the end of the map, I was supposed to be trapped between the fallen rocks. But right after I heard the scary sound I moved back too quickly then I was far before the fallen rocks. I had to watch antlions fighting each other through a hole of the rocks. I guess it would be better if the sound comes a bit later or the rocks blocking back falls way far back.
In replies to a few other mentions in this thread thus far:
I will generally balance my maps for people who are new to VR or are more inclined to take damage from sources more easily than those who spend a lot of time gaming. So I am sorry about the abundance of Vials.
Water will eventually have a slight gravity physics to them when I figure out how to. This map will be updated later on when the rest of the campaign is made. So small tinkerings like this as I learn more how to do things with this engine will improve.
Auto turrets actually DO damage to antlions (seem to ONLY do damage to antlions), and will sometimes kill them but it is very rare because their sporadic shots/spread rarely hits the meaty part behind their armor.
As far as being trapped at the end of the map due to being cautious, I will have to look into that. Thank you.
I've gone through this one as well.
I believe I fixed this issue. It should now be much harder to be left out of the last room. Thank you so much for the report.
@Papa Sid , I am going to look into this tomorrow. Thank you.
The flashlight and helmet are the only two active lights on the map. The rest are baked
hmmm maybe let ppl choose 1 of them at the beginning? just an idea
Or (im no modder but) is it possible to just put a lampmount on helmet where you can choose where to put the flashlight (either hand or helmet)?
As far as picking up the flashlight and placing it, currently that's pretty difficult. Flashlight entity can only be placed on hand right now
