Problems
First look into the "Common Problem" discussion and see if you find your problem. If that doesnt help write what is the problem so that i dont need to ask unnecessary questions and you are able to play faster. Also please keep it constructive and try to be as precise as possible.

I know I'm probably being annoying, but, I've tried, and tried, but I STILL can't access the program files.:steamsad:

go into your steam library. right click on scrap mechanic in the list on the left. click on "properties". switch to the "local files" tab. click on "browse local files" (a folder should open). that are the local files of scrap mechanic.

look at the path in the file browser. click on "steamapps". go to "workshop" than "contents" than "387990" than "2102860762" and than go into the "BotsModFiles" folder from there follow the rest of the guide

normally it should work with both version (atleast when you have installed all files correctly :/)

you might try the testbranch installer if the normal one doesnt work (it might be the case that 0.4.7 has / had the same issue that i fixed for the 0.4.8 testbranch
