Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
I'm going to repost my responses to questions in the comments here, so that everyone can easily find them.

What are the guns in the video?

I used a modified version of the TFA weapons, specifically the No More Room In Hell pack.

Will DBP work on servers?

Yes! This is a client side addon.

Can you make the blood specific to the model being shot?

Until this point, I thought not. However I have received some suggested fixes that I will test in the future. I do intend to make it functional with alien blood at some point.

Does this replace my decals or particles?

Nope! This script will work with any blood decal/particle replacements that you have installed. It is compatible with dismemberment mods, however it may add ridiculous amounts of blood.

What blood decals are in the video/photos?

That's my Carnage Blood Mod, which you can download here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1929418437&searchtext=.

Are there any bugs?

Not necessarily. Ragdolls will also bleed when shot or heavily impacted, however I decided to keep this feature.

Can I turn it off in game?

Yes! You can use dynamicblood_enabled 1 to turn it on, and dynamicblood_enabled 0 to turn it off in-game.

Can you please add an option so that it doesn't affect ragdolls? It's really made making art hard since they just bleed on everything.

Already there! You can turn the effect off with "dynamicblood_enabled 0" in the console.

Ah, thanks.

Is it possible to implement this into other Source games such as Half-Life 2? What would need to be done to do this?

Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but does this work in multiplayer?

Although what I meant was would it be possible to make it so ragdolls, but not npcs, didn't bleed. Because this addon is really cool, but it just ♥♥♥♥♥ with me while I'm tryna make artwork.

Will we be able to freely tweak how often blood spurts within the 360 degree radius? If so, will it be done via convars or the Q Menu?

Not currently, but as I said - just disable it when you are making artwork. It's intended for combat.
