Rivals of Aether
Mojibake
How each move works
Jab: Spawns a warning sign in front of them. A projectile of sorts with little endlag. Surprisingly high vertical knockback.
Side tilt: Pretty standard stunt. Pretty good knockback.
Up Tilt: Again, pretty normal. Similar to their up air.
Down Tilt: Vaults them up in the air, allowing for a follow-up if it hits.
Dash Attack: Kind of like their down strong, but it sends you in the OPPOSITE direction of which you used it.

Side Strong: Launches a high-knockback projectile behind them that wraps around the screen.
Up Strong: A sort of Mario-esque head(?)butt that launches a low-knockback projectile into the air that can hit multiple times.
Down Strong: They slide quickly across the ground, dealing several hits, with the last one dealing a good amount of knockback.

Neutral Air: They spin, it does damage, good for combos.
Foward Air: A very weak headbutt of sorts. Has a sourspot behind them for some reason.
Back air: A pretty good move, potentially useful for combos, though not especially large.
Down Air: Similar to neutral air, though with more knockback, and stalls them in the air for a bit.
Up Air: Good for juggling, good damage. Pretty standard Stunt.

Neutral Special: Leaves behind a shadow wherever you're standing, and teleports you to it if used once more. Can be used while in the middle of any other move. Depending on what move you used last before you used it, you will perform that move again when teleporting to the shadow's position.

Side Special: The Same as neutral special, but the shadow will slowly walk(?) across the screen, eventually disappearing if it goes too far.

Up Special: You go into a state of noclip, causing you to fall through the stage, but not platforms. Once the effect ends, if you are inside the stage, you will be spit out either on top of it, or outside the nearest wall. You cannot be hit or attack until the effect ends. Attempting to do so ends the effect prematurely, and automatically deactivates after a few seconds. You can still jump and airdodge while in this state, and you will also gain an extra jump if you already used your double jump.

Down Special: This is a weird one. You go into a wiggling animation where, if you input either attack or special, and the opponent presses the same button you do, they will be put into an EXTREMELY long state of hitstun. Like, you could go make a sandwich and they'll still be stuck. The timing for this seems extremely precise, and doesn't seem to work on CPUs.

Etc.: Crouching after walking or running causes you to perpetually slide across the ground until released.
If theres anything else of note I missed, be sure to add it to the comments.

Thank you so much for doing this!
You're doing god's (and the modder's) work.
This character is insane! thank you for this!
thank you so much for this you're amazing :reheart:
Any clue why sometimes up-special doesn't activate and only gives the extra double jump? Really irritating when attempting to recover
I don't understand, how the down special works, i rode it but still don't get it
additional note to jab. if your opponent takes a hit, stop signs that didn't disappear yet will pop up again. probably his most broken move if you know how to use it

Taunt seems to just do a fancy taunt, while taunting next to Yebth (a buddy made by the same person who made mojibake) makes Mojibake eat Yebth
i just wanna say that when your sprinting if you change direction without dashing then the sound effects that it makes will stack
found a tech with dtilt. if u press a horiz direction + jump at the EXACT moment moji becomes airborne, they go flying. pretty consistent once you get the timing. can be used for momentum storage with nspec too
