When tamed and on land, Armaedron still has its own personal treasure stockpile: Just because you're its friend, rider and "owner" doesnt mean it'll let you have access to its personal stash!

As such, you can trade with your Armaedron via a radial wheel option. Hold E on your Armaedron, then select "Trade" to see available options.

When you give Armaedron something, it will give you something in return from its collection it views as equal worth: taking your item, digging a moment, putting your item in its stash, then retrieving its offer and giving it to you.

Sometimes, Armaedron may give you an item you can trade back to him. However, you can only "Trade down": you cannot "Trade up".

You can trade him all the different types of gems, green and blue gems can be received when you give him Red gems but you will 2x the returns (you give him 100 red gems and you get 200 blue gems) however the opposite doesn't work you, as you can't trade him blue gems and get silicate or red gems.

Lastly, he trades based on stack. If you have say 1,000 black pearls but they're in stacks of 200, Armae will trade you one max stack of 200 black pearls for 200 of whatever else he offers you. As such, 25 black pearls gives you 25 of the trade value, so on and so forth (stack mods work as well, with Armae trading full stacks for full value)

Note: Armaedron reacts differently depending on your trade offer.
While he will casually give you a fair trade for most offers, when you give him something he REALLY likes and wants (Red Gem, Silicate, Element Ore, Black Pearls), he will play a much more excited and eager animation, complete with different (and more eager) vocalizations.
