Melee stat reset

Hi guys, Is there any way to fix melee stat being reset. Noticed this today on my Armaedron and Indom Rex's. I'd put hundreds of levels into melee :( Playing on a modded public server

Looks like I might be able to answer this myself. I reckon I've gone over the 255 point limit. I had no idea this was a thing. Can anyone confirm please?
