While I will still monitor this thread, by joining our mod's discord server, you are more likely to get technical support quicker. If we aren't available, there is a reliable group of players who will likely have a potential solve for you.

Weird behaviors? Strange observations? Broken mechanic? Let me know!

If multiple kinds of animals are involved, it is helpful if you can tell me specifically which species are involved. If you can provide a screenshot of the issue, that's also helpful!

I just tried this mod out, but I noticed something unusual compared to normal ark.

I stole 2 eggs from a trike nest, they aggroed, killed me, then aggroed again when I looted my corpse (all expected behavior).

However, after running far enough away to drop aggro and for the trike to ignore me, they aggro one more if I take a few steps in their direction (not close enough for them to be territorial).

The followed me for several minutes until I gave up and closed the game. The mod looks cool, but with the way the aggro works with a new player, it seems impossible to steal and egg, set up base, and not get attacked by animals you stole from, even from a far distance away.

Were the trikes still near their nest? If so, they have an extended aggro range when around their nest, even if there are no eggs in it.

Stealing eggs is intentionally meant to be difficult, particularly for aggressive animals. I generally don't try to steal eggs until Level 10 or higher, and usually they are only parasaur or galli eggs.

No, their nest was way down the beach, northern vs southern, for example. I did pass another group of trikes however, which didn't aggro, but maybe the ones following me decided that was their nest as well?

I guess I'll keep trying. It sounds like an interesting mod.

Implant weight resets on relog, and only increases to 130 after respawning once. Newly created characters also don't have implant weight.

Thanks for the report, Hal. I'll investigate and aim to get a fix out soon.

- Similar to eslark82; any time I encounter two trikes, they turn red and charge me from 100 meters away. I don't see any nests around, and it happens in the jungle as well as the beaches. Doesn't seem to happen when there's only one Trike.
- Similar to Hal; my implant weighed 180 at spawn, which only gave me 70 functional weight. After relog it weighs 0. I have HG's 90% running in lower priority, but haven't tested if that's conflicting.
[Sneaky EDIT] Carnos seem to be the only thing, or only large creature, that doesn't give Raw Prime Meat. Not a complaint, I have more than I can use, just not sure if it was intended.

Thanks for the report Auner. I'll take another look at the Trikes and see if there is something I overlooked. As for the implant, yes, I have found the bug, but I also think I will be removing it as a feature in the next update. It doesn't quite result in anything other than feeling like a needless punishment for the player. And sure! Happy to open a suggestions thread.

Disabling certain spawns isn't working anymore.

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Pegomastax_Character_BP_C",ToClassName=")
NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Ichthyornis_Character_BP_C",ToClassName=")
Olympia  [developer] 4 Jun, 2020 @ 1:34pm
Yeah, those are vanilla dino BPs. You'll need this mod's custom spawn classes in order to disable certain dinos. One of the items on my to-do lists is to create a list of all the custom spawn classes. In the meantime, for those two, try this:

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="DA_Pegomastax_Character_BP_C",ToClassName=")
NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="DA_Ichthyornis_Character_BP_C",ToClassName=")

Since recent update when cooked meat spoils it's weight becomes 10 pounds each piece. I know you changed some weights not sure if this was intended? Really enjoying the mod so far, nice job on it.

Thank you for the report Findarion. Definitely not intended! Will include as part of my bugfix for the upcoming update.
Galarn 5 Jun, 2020 @ 6:56am
I'm seeing some dinos not able to hurt each other, for e.g, a Raptor could not hurt a baby Parasaur
Olympia  [developer] 5 Jun, 2020 @ 7:28am
Thanks for the report Galarn! Hmm, I just tested that scenario in game, and the raptor very quickly took out a baby parasaur. It is possible that given how small the baby parasaur mesh is, the raptor's attack range may just not be sufficient at certain angles to actually hit the baby's hit box. Are you seeing it for any other dino combinations?

It's possible I am misunderstanding this but from Azulberries seem to raise torpor quite rapidly, however on your features thread it says:
"-Azulberries → Food (0.25) + Water (2) + Oxygen - Torbidity" so I took them as meaning it would reduce it, if anything.
Olympia  [developer] 5 Jun, 2020 @ 11:37am
Good observation, AkumaKitei. I should probably spend a bit more time fixing up those notes, to make them a little more clear. They should be raising your torpor, as the berries can be used in a pinch underwater, but they cannot be used indefinitely.
