Silk on the island?

Is there a better way to get silk on the island? Cant kill Lymantria, they are so easily spooked :rolleyes:

Pain in the ass at first. Got my first batch from killing lymantria. But first saddle in exceptional tier should be a theri. Use theri on bushes in the swamp and you will never have a silk shortage again.

Harvesting the cattails in the swamp gives a bit of silk.. Took me a bit of time, but I harvest about 200 in 30 minutes. Yes it was slow, but I found a safe spot.
