Ye I’m trying, however I think a headcrab in the sink would make it more comedic rather scary. But thx for the suggestion !
For instance, the headcrab idea is cool, you could rig the hole to make it talk.
And I think the talking baby baby in the original game was comedic by itself.
Like you could open the window to let the sound from the outside (idk how you would interpolate the window open state to sound volume using hammer but you could use some Vscripting).
By doing that you can be cheaper on details.
I can try ! Good idea !
Great job btw, this is already SUPER awesome!
you will get stronger feeling of isolation
and make wall and floor looks "older" (tear or scratch.. etc) looks good for horror game
also I noticed some weird shadow, maybe try to make lightmap a little denser?
btw, beside using logic_playerproxy for flashlight
you can also try use env_projectedtexture and parented it on some prop
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Env_projectedtexture
in this way player will need to hold flashlight in their hand and you got more options to control flashlight (spooky time)
I don't know if valve fixed all those bug in source2 though
You should check out the "Horror Asset Pack" It has actual models of the Lisa, the baby, and the paintings from the original game.
