However I believe that Living uboat also adds in additional research, air recon patrols, changes performance attributes of the VIIC uboat, adjust munitions spawning, adjusts attributes of damage system, and other gameplay components. ( I may not be entirely accurate, you would have to bring Wangtze into this conversation)
Uboat expanded, seeks to recreate many (if not all) of the historical Naval events, timelines, accurate Uboat Patrols, recreating all known Allied Convoys, recreating ship/fleet production, and the full scale of the entire Naval conflict of WWII. However I do this with out changing the core gameplay mechanics such as damage, storage of uboat, npc officer/crew member attributes, etc. I allow other mods to focus on these changes. where this mod only seeks to add content. However this mod suffers from the inevitable curse of becoming a mega historcial recreation/simulation of WWII. this is good for people who like accuracy, but may not be as enjoyable for light sim'ers.
I would really like to hear the communities take on their opinions of these two mods. It also helps be gather feed back, you should pose this question in the general discussion
For my taste, your mod is more suitable for me.
I look forward to the update!
