Current issues/bugs 0.5.4

Flag assets misaligned (resolution known)

Performance of new 0.5.4 dynamic convoy (optimizations needed)

Incompatibility with dynamic travel setting (analyzing)

Tasks not completely loaded for all counties: warships +aircraft subs not spawning (report sent, analyzing)

Hey Link, got this when selecting a medium difficulty mission that has a French (from the name) battleship. Mission says it is selected (has the green tick, objectives show up) but then the telegraph says I haven't selected a mission and cannot leave port. I can select another mission to fix it and be able to leave port.

Unfortunately no. It looks normal. The mission that has the battleship is seletced with a green tick on it but I can still click and accept other missions. Before I do that the objectives of the bugged mission are listed in the top-right list as per normal but the telegraph still says I need to take a mission to leave.

I feel this can be reproduced with any mission with a battleship modifier

To clarify you are talking about side missions being affected by spawners which include battleship in the content field. How are you getting these missions to occur. These are not apart of the normal mission selection

No, main mission selected at port. One that shows the "Battleship X has been seen in the area".

oh okay got it so, it is likely a battleship is being spawned but doesn't have a name in the entities file. thus causing the exception. I need to try and reproduce this issue.

I can only start the first mission after i complete the patrol and RTB i talk to the CO and get my mission report after that i want to select a new mission but the mission screen is emty and i cant select anyting
I disabled all other mods started a new game and still had the same problem
after i dissabled this mod and started a new vanilla game the issue was gone
overal great mod btw

I seem to run into a problem with convoy spawning: there are none. Also no planes, warships etc. I tried around, the only exception are some ports (i think the "standard game" ports) and mission objectives (sink ship xy which is carrying new tech). I tried different campaign starts etc. I tried reinstalling game and mod, repaired the game. Interesting was: after reinstalling the game, with same settings and campaign, it started lagging extremely hard compared to before. Also: every mission objective convoy stayed the whole game, even after mission end etc. The mission convoy was normally the point where it started lagging. I actual don't know if that is normal so I just wrote it.

If I missed something or you need more data/logs, I will happily provide them. Anyways, you guys are doing a awesome job.

I will look into the mission generation for this port.
You should be able to force through the bugged mission by selecting accept and immediately following up for a new mission where new parameters will be selected

Will continue to look into this seems that a piece of equipment is breaking on convoys. The errors are helpful, but I may need to reach out to the devs

@link I'm pretty sure this is the same issue I had that I sent you with no mission being generated since it's past the end of patrols from that port.

addition to my bugreport: it seams to be an issue produced by this mod. I just tried playing with all the base mods installed sepperatly. And it seems to work... I encountered no issue, not even lag spikes. Probably there is a difference between the base mods and the summary mod?

I know this is a deleted post, however I think it was a good point.

The base mods get updated at a much slower interval. This is for the purpose of stability and retention of earlier versions for this exact reason, if UBE encounters game breaking changes the sub mods will not incorperate these changes until a "stable" period is reached.

I usually try and update the "base/part/sub" mod portions every Major Dev Patch rather than every time UBE is updated.

all the Expanded Mods that make up UBE will be updated likely around B129's release

a fix is known. It doesn't work 100% but it avoids the blank UI issue. however it is difficult / impossible to ensure that a change flotilla mission is only provide to the player. however i have submitted a F11 report to the devs as well as implemented a sort of fix to Shared UBE BETA. if testing proves out a solution I can push this to the public branch.
