Post-December 2020 Update: Report Issues here
I just uploaded changes that I believe should fix the issues with the December 2020 patch. If you see issues, please report them here if you're **not** able to report them to the GitHub page:

Please:
  • describe what is happening
  • if you have other mods running
  • if it happens when only CQUI is enabled
  • Screenshots are always great (on your Steam page, or Imgur, or whatever)
  • Any Lua.log snippets that include the phrase "Runtime Error" and whatever indented lines follow, for example:

I don't know if I messed something up, but I still have a blank trade window.
I deleted my old CQUI folder and downloaded the updates version via steam downloader and also via github (although I am not familiar with github), as I am playing Civ VI via Epic Games launcher.

I tried the mod version that you uploaded today: https://i.imgur.com/VBDwfbP.jpg

When I clicked on "what would it take?" button to see what would happen, the result is that all of other diplomacy deal screens only display the "never mind" option as shown in the 3rd screenshot. I had to reload the save to get rid of the secondary bug.

I also disabled all of the mods and only had CQUI running, but it's still broken.

I am also using Epic Games and used a download tool to get the mod from Steam.

The diplomacy looks the same way at my game. Everything is blank and there is nothing which can be chosen. I am only running CQUI and have no other mods. I also tried it in a new game with the same result. Maybe this contributes to a fix which is possibly related to the Epic Games launcher (as another user has written that is seems to work fine with steam).

I've launched the game directly without Epic Games launcher and I'm still having problems.

EDIT: I also verified the game files with no effect.

Ok so I have 1 person on the regular thread saying it's good, and both of you use the Epic launcher. Any chance you can upload the Lua.log file? Or find the snippet around the error messages? There's some weirdness there that should not be.

It's just that it's still the 11/27 update on steamworkshop.download. It always takes a while to update there for us Epic guys. I usually have to manually copy the fixes into the LUA from GitHub, but the fixes haven't been posted there.. so..

I think this is the point!
When I downloaded the File via steamworkshop.download, the folder data in the mod folder was around November 2020. I will check the availability of the new version tomorrow.

If you could update the Github page so I can download from it, that would confirm if the issue is due to the steamworkshop.download site.

Possible bug? I can sometimes see AI spies in my cities and AI submarines too even when I don't have any units close to them. Those units should be invisible. I disabled all other mods and I still see the problem. If I disable CQUI, those units become invisible.

I believe the January update broke CQUI. The most noticeable thing I noticed first is the trade screen (not the trade route window) when you go to make a deal, neither sides resources show up and the game locks with no way to exit the Make A Deal screen.

I have noticed two things since the new update came out today. First, the City bar behaviour seems different to me. I no longer see the district icons in the city name bar on the main map, and in the past, most of where I clicked on the city bar would bring up the main city screen and allow me to change production etc. Now, however, to get that I have to click on the little production circle on the right end.

Second, I just had a civ I was at war with request peace, and while their background appeared, none of the options were drawn on the screen at all, and no way to close the screen without the Accept or decline option available.

I don't see anything in the release notes that specifically mentions changes that this mod would have to adjust to deal with appropriately, but obviously with a new game mode, there are very likely several code changes that will affect CQUI.

Thanks for the comments. I think I have fixed the issue with the banner and diplomacy deal screen, but haven't been able to do any in-depth tests. Please let me know if you see additional issues.

The issue with the Diplomacy screen was that they made a change to the order in which the "include this file" directives happen. The Fix from CQUI was to "include" the Firaxis-produced DiplomacyDealView file, instead of the "Expansion2" version of that same file. It was a minor change to fix but wasn't obvious at first.

i have found two issues since the upddate today.
The mousover effect doesnt work anymore.
- When i go with the mouse to the city bar without clicking anything normaly i could see on which plates the citizens are working on (plate is orange)
- normally the mousover effect shows me how long does it take until the next plate will ne available. Now i cant see anything.
