Thoughts on Bagra
I really like Bagra. It is like Mirage and Inferno had a beautiful female baby named Bagra. I've spent about 4 hours with Bagra, learning her ins and outs very well. Sometimes with friends, teaching them things I've learned about Bagra as well... Here are some brief thoughts and emotions I have/feel for this map.

  • The visuals are very clean, and as of the latest update, colorful and not dull! Most of CS:GO's color palette is very grey and brown. While Bagra maintains the standard CS:GO visual style, it also breaks out of the very bland look of most Valve maps by adding splashes of color here and there, along with bright lighting.

  • The layout is great. The rush times all across the map are very balanced and interesting IMO. The only odd one might be B site, but there is a decent enough area to cover that it is still possible to hold B before getting overrun. (Much like dust2's B site)

    A long is the opposite of B long. B long, the Ts can completely own it before CT's peek. But A long, the CTs can own it before Ts peek long. (almost)

    The mid rush times are fair. CTs get about 1-2 seconds once they've reached window before the Ts can peek mid.

  • Wall bang spots are very noticeable and welcoming to exploitation. When you see these spots in Bagra, the design of the spots immediately instructs your mind on what you can exploit them for:

  • Boost spots that make me smile. I was so giddy when I found I could jump my way to plateau at long B. The two boost walls near long A were equally as fun to see. There are also several boosts spots that you can use as a team to retake sites or peek over into other logical areas. (Teamwork OP!)

  • Open skybox. If I want to smoke B site from T spawn, I damn well can. Since the sky is as open as it is, it only took me around 10 minutes to find consistent window and mid smokes from T stairs. This makes me smile. :)

I only have three wishes for this map currently.

1. Move the trash can pictured to the right slightly. Right now, you can circle jump from the trashcan to the wooden mid wall, but it is much harder than the Nuke T roof to twinkie jump. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215004911

2. Add something long A to let me jump between the two boost platforms. Either a simple straight brush above the entrance like in Valve's Mirage, or something else to let people skill jump between the two spots. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215004798

3. Usable doorbells pls. I want to ding dong ditch the CTs.

I can absolutely see this map being as popular as Cache though and look forward to it in the next map pack operation! #BagraLyfe
