Are you picking this up!?!
"Hallo" Commander,

I'm going to number the paragraphs, in case you want to talk about specific points.

1 - Since 2011 I keep a series of Tiberian Dawn single player missions called The HUGE Collection (at https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/1053-tiberian-dawn-the-huge-collection-single-player/ and https://forums.cncnz.com/topic/15306-tiberian-dawn-single-player-missions). At this point we have around 800 missions, good or not, and the collection has received 196K/52K visits in it's near decade of existence.

2 - Despite the statistics, I got more feedbacks from online players than the casual players, the latters are the target "audience". The collection has interesting maps and missions, but, in most cases, too easy for today's standards.

3 - Also, over time, it was pointed out that there were too many missions and no Player Guide telling at least which are the more interesting missions to play with. This is actually WIP, but still akin to its potential.

4 - Starting to handling with Steam's Workshop, I noted that there are too many SP missions already and also noted that using collections instead of mission pages have no functional advantage.

5 - I decided to publish the missions released from 1995 to 2000 only, for the moment. After 2000, most of the mapmakers are among us and might want to release their missions themselves.

6 - It seems to have a problem with Steam (or the fact that I'm using Windows 7), so the maps downloaded don't show up in its proper menu in-game. At this point, I'm waiting for an update of the game and/or Steam platform.

So, this is what I am thinking about doing:

7 - I'm planning on releasing everything ready in a ZIP file and players can drop them in their CnC documents folder, without having to wait for me or Steam Workshop;

8 - My collection on Steam will be of selected ones, working as a player guide, but all of them pointing to the general ZIP folder.

9 - Suggest people to play specific missions forwarding their impressions and experiences to others and these personal notes might make it to the player guide.

10 - Enforce anyone that enjoys the activity of mapmaking to enhance those missions that has good maps and poor Triggers and Teamtypes. If interested in this subject, let me know. Personally, this item could be a thread of its own.

Feel free to say something, state your motives, pitch your ideas or whatever.
I might have more to say, but, for now. we are here to "hear" from you.
English is not my native language, ask for clarification whenever necessary.
