How to abandon z levels
I'm trying to abandon an unused z level, but I have no option on the global map to abandon the level. Is this normal mod behavior (if so, how does one abandon a level)?

I haven't tested it myself, but it looks like you can abandon a Z-level by making sure there are no colonists on the level being abandoned, then clicking the little red X on the Z-level icon at the top bar.

That does the trick, thank you so much, I thought the x was purely cosmetic to show no one is on that level!!!
