How do I open this and set it up in the particle editor window?
I'm still new to particles, and I have no idea how to set it up for use. the pictures didn't help at all. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

Incredibly sorry to take 3 weeks to get back to you, i just came back to update the workshop.

As for opening up the particle editor, i've explained the best i can, as well as provided images that you should be able to follow.
If you are somehow still interested in making artworks using my workshop, Please read below and 'Right click' one of the particles you want to edit and go to the bottom to bring up the particle editor
