Is trade going to be a supported gameplay option?
Even with the new economics system it still seems extremely difficult to play as a trader. This is because the resource production menu doesn't seem to correlate with item prices, there isn't much goods variation between cities, and even if you find a village or city that produces something worth selling somewhere else, neither produces a lot of 1 item and travel times are so long given the map size you often spend more on food than you make from the trade. I'm curious if trader gameplay will be supported in the future? Maybe something along the lines of Viking Conquest where cities produce a lot of a few types of items and will pay for what they don't produce.
