game crashes upon equipping any weapon
howdy folks

i'm surprised no one has spoken of this issue before, at least from what i can see, but for some ridiculous reason my game completely crashes whenever i select any weapon from this mod. so far, i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the addons completely, disabling every addon i have except for the ArcCW ones, and lowered my graphics to their lowest settings, and still nothing has happened.

can anyone help me at all with this issue? many thanks

and if it helps, my specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 (64-Bit)
CPU: Intel Core i3-7100 @ 3.9GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
RAM: 32Gb

weird as ♥♥♥♥ issue that very few people have and we don't know why
is there anything recent in your steamapps/common/GarrysMod/crashes folder?

well, my last crash log shows this:

"Executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64\gmod.exe

I just started experiencing this too. Also uninstalled and reinstalled everything but still crashes. Strange because it was working fine just yesterday and I haven't made any changes to my game since then. I can still spawn npcs with the weapons and the models still show up in the world if that helps. Just equipping them seems to cause it.

Kinda random but the crash seemed to be caused by conflict with a tool I have called "scenic dispenser". I removed it and now I can equip weapons again. So if by chance you have scenic dispenser, maybe. Hope this helps.

I have this issue as-well, But I only have 2 of each addons enabled and that is ArcCW and a weapon pack,

despite ALL that, it crashes.

yea i have the same issue of it crashing. almost ALL the time. and when i first got it, it worked fine. i could use all the time and it didnt crash. then after it started getting updates, it started crashing all the time. can anyone tell me what could be possibly doing this? cause my laptop is MADE for gaming. so my hardware should not be a problem at all

It might be a load order incompatibility or something, I eventually fixed it by just starting fresh and redownloading all of the mods.

I had this same problem but I fixed it, I don't know why that happened to me to but what I did was unsubscribe from all my Arccw addons, go into local files, manually going through and deleting all folder and files created by Arccw.
The main file I believe you have to look for is the arccw_presets folder in the data folder and delete it after unsubscribing from all Arccw addons.
If this doesn't work try removing all your mods and test your arccw mods alone, while doing this.
