There are two coffee machines in the vanilla game. They both have coffee pots in them and no cream/sugar pots. The vanilla toaster has two slots and no plate. These are just decoration.

The new machines can't be docked. (docks are spots on tables or shelves that an item snaps to.) Some tables and counters don't have docks. You can also build a counter out of wall blocks.

Toaster recipes should be the same as the recipes you can find for the frying pan but they won't use butter. Put the sliced bread in the slot. Output is on the plate.

Coffee maker recipes are the same as the boil recipes for hot drinks (Teas and Coffees.) They won't require jars of water though. (usually. if we ever make an Americano it will be an exception.) The wood looking coffee maker can only do basic recipes. The more modern one can make recipes with one extra ingredient.
