Floors Are Light!

Should be able to build but can't?
I've had a report of an issue wherein buildings are not able to be placed atop floors which don't support them by themselves, but should support them due to the terrain they're built over. For instance, if you can't build a Hi-Tech Research Bench on Sterile Tile, even though that Sterile Tile was built over normal soil, then you're in the right place!

If you have this issue, I'd like to ask you to do a few things to help me fix it! Please do the following:
  1. Experiment with the issue, load your mod list in a new save to ensure it's not a save glitch.
  2. Leave a comment here describing what you were trying to do, and which mods, buildings and floors were involved.
  3. Provide a HugsLib log and more importantly..
  4. Send me a pastebin of your ModsConfig.xml, so I can collect a record of your mod list to narrow down which mod is the culprit.
(ModsConfig.xml can be located in "C:\Users\[YourUser]\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config" on Windows. If anyone knows the paths for Mac and/or Linux please leave a comment and I'll add them here.)

Also, while it is a lot of work, if anyone encountering this issue would like to manually sift through their mod list to find the offending mod, please do! It would help tremendously.

Now, onto the workaround fixes. If you encounter this issue, once you've done all of the above, try the fixes below. (List will be updated as more are found)
  • Place Floors Are Light! higher up in your mod list, preferably just below Core, Royalty, HugsLib, Harmony, and other framework and library mods. If you use Stuffed Floors, have that above this mod too.
