1.at the town at the pig coop 2.fisherman's grove 3.floating island 4.North-East lake at the dorms

yes the sinks, and water tanks are surprisingly enough dirty water

i wanted to make all water sources clean but unfortunately objects can only have dirty water.

I dont understand why we cant just make a pot, cook it over a fire, and fill canteens with it. I mean, you boil water to make sure its clean, right? Is my logic flawed?

you no longer need to, military canteens (at least the elver ones) now automatically filter dirty water

Thats dope. Still, would be kinda cool to boil water, in case you cant find purification tablets. But since they spawn fairly often, its not necessary
