Good locations to build a base
A lot of the areas outside of the city isn't flat enough to make a base, which is irritating

I built a small one under the bridge, north of the Town. Its not exactly a BASE, more like a fortified alley, but I also play single-player. Aside from a small cultist stash there, there isnt much THERE. (There are plenty more stashes, and I always find hoods/katanas/staves, and maybe a AR. Nothing too crazy)
