[Elver Update #9]
Bunkers have finally been introduced to the forests of Elver. They vary in size and purpose, from large garages designed for vehicle storage to small hidden stashes, allowing players to fortify them and turn them into their own small bases. They are unmarked on the map so the only way to find them is through extensive exploration of the Elverian environment (or a steam guide).


Additions :
>Added 8 new bunkers scattered around the forest
>Added 5 new Paintings [57679-57683] featuring art made by AnimaticFreak, SirAdy and Danaby2
>Added Metal Bar Roof [57684]


Changes :
>All water sources have been made dirty instead of clean
>Cow random quest now requires the player to kill 10 cows instead of 25


Fixes :
>Fixed headlamp repair recipe
>Removed unused Unlike Pluto songs from the masterbundle to reduce the map file size
>Fixed Painting #3 not spawning correctly
>Fixed the Elver related errors that would appear in the Error Logs
>Potentially fixed bug where item related NPC quests/conditions didn't work (green teleporter, fishing quest, random quests)


The Future of Elver
This is unfortunately the penultimate update to Elver, meaning that the next one will be the last. The reason for this is that Elver is nearing completion and adding any more features would just be redundant. The gameplay has shifted over the many months of playtesting and even post-release with my own experience of playing on public servers along with feedback. Weekly updates were never something I originally intended to do before release but they were the obvious choice to help shape the map into my initial vision for it - a fast paced but grindy PVP focused multiplayer map. At this point, forcing any more features, items or ideas into Elver would just be redundant and distract from my vision for this project.

And of course, after 10 months of constantly working on the same project, one week after another, day after day, I admit that I have gotten a little bit burned out/unmotivated and I do feel like it is finally time to move onto something different. This has been quite an exciting journey and I would like to thank everyone involved, from the contributors, to the testers, anyone who reporeted any bugs and made suggestions, or even those who made videos playing on the map.

That being said, the final update should be quite exciting but it will take some time to finish up. There will be a small update for halloween before that and after Update #10, there will most likely still be small patches to the map with minor balance tweaks or general fixes/optimizations, but nothing too major.

Anyone know why the NW Farm field exploded randomly? We just discovered the empty bunker with the "D" logo on the entrance, but we can't find any other reason for the map to explode.
