Crazy to think that 4 years have passed since I released this map, since then so much has changed in my life (i wasn't even 18 when it came out!!). It's been flattering to see the reception Elver's gotten over the years & how much it's gone on to influence subsequent projects, the community & game itself. Thank you to those of you who still play (and, sorry for leaving the pandiculator in such a broken state for so long >.<)

This small patch focuses gameplay changes that were long overdue. Read below for the full info, but the map should be a lot more playable now. These changes are a small fraction of features/additions from the massive Elver overhaul I was working on, which has been unfortunately put on the backburner due to 2 main reasons:
-First of all, Curated Content is no longer being accepted for Unturned. Unfortunately this change has kinda killed my motivation to keep working on it :/ My original plan was to get it featured with update notes, a trailer, skins, autosub, etc so that many people could give it a try (esp those who weren't around 4 years ago), but this is no longer feasible (at least currently).
-Second of all, as a consequence of the previous point, I got a job lol. Being a big grown up adult with a uni degree now I unfortunately have bills to pay and can't afford to spend 12 hours a day working on an overhaul that may or may not even get curated, as much as I would like to.

Our new map Limestone is set to release later this year. It's a map made by Renaxon, clue, danaby2 (that's me!), Zoliworks & Der Ente. -Deadzone has increased HP and radiation damage to people without a gasmask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Building around the final quest area has been disabled to prevent glitch bases (as a consequence the horde summoner can now be placed in building blocked areas)
-Drop rates have been increased by 1.5x for the following items: GPU, Mesh, Defib battery, Gyroscope
-Reduced amount of spawns in deadzone side rooms (the silly corridors that spawn GPUs and whatnot)
-Players no longer lose XP on death
-Third person recoil multiplier has been reduced from 2x to 1.2x
-Players now spawn at 90 health, 75 food/water
-Health now regenerates above 70 food/water, and radiation falls at 5 instead of 35
-Added GPU & Components to airdrops
-NPCs have been dripped out a bit (+ new halloween fits)
-Reduced health of various barricades/furniture items and made them vulnerable to low caliber - most non-storage placable items now have up to 150HP, except big stuff (THICC crate etc) which have 550HP (metal placard no longer has 1100HP biggest bunker nerf 2024 real)


-Hellcat: now full auto w/ high spread + can shoot while sprinting
-Pandiculator: damage decreased from 10 to 6 per pellet (DPS 545!!! -> 327), movement speed while aimed decreased, dmg falls off to 80% at max range
-Pallas: damage decreased from 13 to 12 per pellet, reduced limb damage multiplier from 0.7x to 0.5x, reduced head damage multiplier from 1.1x to 1x
-Blaster: way lower recoil, can shoot while sprinting
-Sauce: damage goes from 81 at 0m -> 91 at 50m, 50% less damage to limbs/chest


-Increased deadzone DPS further (was still barely cheesable with medkits)
-Devastator: fire rate decreased from 3 to 6 (now shares stats with A6 Polaris Devastator)
-Fixed barricade recipes :3
