Removing mod from an existing save is game-breaking
As I was experimenting with the incompatibility between Alien Races framework and the Corruption Core mod (because alien race pawns have a buggy tab for "Soul" which only flashes and never opens) removing the mod from an existing save curiously causes all living pawns, animals, and things to become unkillable. Pawns and animals can have their brain literally destroyed and they will still walk around as if they're still alive, some pawns will have a bleedout where the timer is stuck on 0 and the pawn is still alive, the operations tab on a downed or dying pawn immediately removes the selected surgery procedure, and finally, there was a wolf that was hunting a rabbit, and suddenly the game dips down to 10 FPS because the wolf is rapidly attacking the rabbit to the point of where it reaches over 13000% bleed and never dies, at least getting in 15 attacks every second - this goes back to the "nothing ever dies" problem but I thought it was boggling.

I confirmed that it's unsafe to remove from an existing save because I started a new world without the Corruption Core and immediately went to go kill an animal, to which it died with no problem.
