SUGGESTION
We are open to any kind of suggestion regarding our addon. First of all, please read the "INFORMATION" section explaining the problems we may have encountered. We want you to know that we appreciate your interest in our addon.

INFORMATION
We often have suggestions or remarks regarding some details about the Scarab.
Since the beginning of the Scarab development, know that I did my best to find the developers with the necessary LUA knowledge, this has been a very long journey.
However, knowledge has a limit and SOURCE too:

#1 Physical
It is currently impossible to create a physics for the Scarab to walk on it. It will be too complex physics and source can not support such a vehicle. The Scarab is a very large object, if it had a physics, it will be less easy to move. This physics problem is directly linked to the other problem concerning the adaptation to the terrain: the IK Chains.
#2 IK Chains
To put it simply, the IK Chains is a feature found in many games, allowing an element to move another element in the animation. The IK Chains is linked to the bones in Gmod. The Scarab has 3 bones in each of its legs and it cannot have more because it is the limit of Source. In the real Halo game, I let you imagine that the Scarab must have at least 4 to 5 IK Chains per legs. Because of this problem, you will notice that the Scarab very often has its IK Chains of "broken": the legs floating in the air, they drag on the ground. We simply cannot resolve this problem at this time. The legs of the Scarab are normally able to stretch completely, and this is currently not the case, this is why if the Scarab ended up on a hill for example with full physics, there will be big problems of collisions

TO DO LIST
-Correct the first person camera of the turret user on the Scarab "2 Players".

one thing that i hope wont be too hard would be in the options of the scarab with the third person camera distance and all that, maybe a "build up time for scarab laser" and "firing time for scarab laser and turret". basically make it so the laser builds up slower/faster and the shooting goes on for longer/less. hopefully it isnt too difficult!

Seeing how incredibly well you brought this to Garry's Mod, do you think you could do the same with all the other Halo 3 vehicles? Ive seen other mods that do it, but they dont really do anything like what you guys have done

It would be an amazing project, however I don't have the time or the money to do such a project. I hope someone will be able to achieve this!

this is by far the best scarub ive seen so far...
it would be nice to make it so when i go up a hill then it would angle upwords.

First things first, I must admire the dedication that was put into this addon, it is genuenly amazing, and I cannot be more happier with the final result.

Now, onto the suggestion part, expanding or making another addon, but, with the "Type-30 Locust" since both follow the same execution, but one being smaller and easier to manouver. (I hope.)

suggestion: whenever you spawn the scarab it deos an orbital drop like in the games and it lands and lowers down for players to load up into the back
