If possible with the API (now or later) I suggest these features for later versions:
- make the distance between signals dependent the average VMax of the track within that area (by track mods)
- make it possible that before each main signal there always is a presignal (also distance dependent the VMax of the track at that area)
- if installed https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php?entry/5102-signaltafeln-der-deutschen-bahnen²/ , make presignal boards appear before presignals in their according distances, like https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entfernungsbake#Eisenbahn
- make it possible that all signals of a specific type (choosable by drop down menu?) can be replaced by another specified signal - for era change. The total cost should be shown beforehand and it should only be possible if there are enough funds.
- make it possible that hectometer stones and boards https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php?entry/5349-hektometersteine-und-tafeln/ appear each 200m (main track) or 500m (side track), with choosable start value and choosable increasing or decreasing the values
